We offer wine label and packaging design from the Penedès, the wine region west of Barcelona best known for cava. We work with wineries and food producers. A label has to earn its place on the shelf in a few seconds and still tell the story to anyone who stops to read it, so we start from the actual product (how it’s made, where it comes from, who drinks it) rather than from whatever the shelf is doing.
Labels that come from the wine
For Esvalot, an ancestral-method sparkling wine from the ERAVi winery, we built a generative process: every bottle carries a different typographic composition, just as fermentation never repeats itself. For the 82 wine labels we made an ink from the vineyard soil and hand-stamped each label, one by one. We’ve worked with ERAVi on several projects, from the 82 labels to Esvalot, including its identity and website, so label, cork and screen all say the same thing.
Production worked out from day one
Paper and finishes (embossing, foil stamping, textures) are decided together with the design, not at the end, and tested with the printer before the run. We review proofs and follow production so what comes off the press is what you approved. We fit the mandatory label information in with you and your printer; final sign-off on compliance rests with the winery or importer.
Beyond wine
The same method works for food and other local products. For Gallines de Pastura, an organic egg producer in the Penedès, we designed the identity and the egg carton: a Penedès landscape with pink hens out to pasture, a color rarely seen in the category that helps the brand stand out on the shelf.
What you receive
- Concept and design for the label or pack, presented in scaled mockups.
- A proposal for paper and finishes, checked with the printer.
- Print-ready artwork and proof review.
- For a range, a shared system that keeps every new SKU consistent and more efficient to produce.
If you’re based in the US or Canada, we can work by video call and written feedback, with files set up for your local printer. Tell us about the wine or product, the print run and the release date, and we’ll propose a scope.
Process
Brief and research
We learn the product, the customer and where it will be sold, look at what's on the shelf, and agree in writing on the SKUs, formats, fee and schedule.
Concept
We develop the idea for the label or pack and present it in scaled mockups, with a proposal for paper and finishes and, for a range, the shared system.
Development and revisions
We refine the design and fit in the mandatory information. Two rounds of revisions are included; if a third is needed, we quote it first.
Final art and print follow-up
We prepare print-ready artwork, review proofs and follow production so the printed result matches what you approved.

FAQ
How much does wine label design cost?
A single label or SKU starts at €850. Ranges of three or more SKUs start at €2,000, with a shared system that lowers the cost of each additional label. Always a fixed fee.
How long does it take?
As a guide, a single label takes approximately 3 to 5 weeks to final art, and a range 5 to 8, depending on scope and turnaround on feedback. Printing has its own lead time. If you have a release date, we plan backward from it.
What is included?
Concept, design, a proposal for paper and finishes, two rounds of revisions and print-ready final art. Paper and printing are paid separately, directly to the printer.
Do you handle the printing?
We can work with the label printer you already use or suggest one, and we follow the proofs. The printing contract is between you and the printer.
Who checks the mandatory label information?
We fit and organize it with the winery and the printer so it reads clearly without breaking the design. We don't give legal advice: final sign-off on compliance rests with the winery or importer.
Can you redesign a label we already have?
Yes. We first decide what to keep (the name, a color, a recognizable element) so existing customers still find you on the shelf, and then we rework the rest.
Do you also design the winery's brand identity?
Yes, and that's when labels work best. For ERAVi we designed the logo, labels, corks and website under one set of rules, and for Gallines de Pastura, the identity and the egg carton.
Can we work with you from North America?
Yes. We meet by video call, keep feedback in writing and set up files for your local label printer. If we're close by, we can review paper and finish proofs in person; otherwise we send printed proofs or share digital ones. Mandatory label information varies by market, so we lay it out with you and your importer.
What rights do you get to the design and files?
We transfer the usage rights to the final work once the project is paid. Editable source files (for example AI, INDD or Figma) are delivered on request at an extra cost. The exact terms depend on the project and are set in the quote.
How does payment work?
50% when you accept the quote and the remainder on final delivery.
