We’re a brand identity design studio in Vilafranca del Penedès, the main town of Spain’s Penedès wine region, about 30 miles west of Barcelona. We work with wineries, food producers, retailers, cultural organizations and small businesses, and we treat identity as a system (name, logo, typography, color, voice and applications) rather than a standalone logo.
When it makes sense
Almost always at a turning point: a new generation taking over, a new product range, a change of ownership, a move into direct sales or a first edition. That’s when your current look no longer says who you are, or when the brand has to start working without relying on the person who created it. If you don’t have a name yet, naming is part of the service.
One idea you can explain in a sentence
Every identity starts from a concrete fact about the project, not from a trend. For Ordim, an urban commons network in Vilafranca, we built the name from a Catalan verb for setting up the threads on a loom, and the logo is made of horizontal lines that double as a modular system. For ERAVi, a winery revived by a young winemaker, a timeline and a row of vines tell the winery’s story on the label, the cork and the website. We’ve worked with this winery on several projects, from the 82 labels to Esvalot.
You don’t always have to start over. For Acadèmia Aprèn, a tutoring center that had just changed hands, we kept the logo so families would still recognize it and renewed everything around it: palette, shapes, website, storefront sign and windows.
What you receive
- Research and concept: one to three routes chosen strategically and argued on criteria, presented on real applications.
- Logo and variants, typefaces, color palette and the agreed applications.
- Final files for print and screen.
- Usage guidelines, so printers, photographers or your own team can apply the brand without calling us.
Scope, fee and schedule are agreed in writing before we start. We can work with clients in North America by video call and written feedback. If your brand has outgrown its look, or your project doesn’t have a name yet, tell us where you are and we’ll tell you how we see it.
Process
Brief and research
We talk with you and look at what you have and what surrounds you (industry, competitors, place). Before we draw anything, scope, fee and schedule are agreed in writing.
Concept
We define the name if you need one and the idea behind it. We present one to three concept routes, chosen strategically: each answers the brief and is argued on criteria, not on taste. You see them applied to real pieces (logo, type, color) so you decide by seeing how it will actually work.
Development and revisions
We develop the chosen direction and every piece of the system. Two rounds of revisions are included; if a third is needed, we quote it before we start.
Final files and guidelines
You get final files for print and screen, plus usage guidelines so the brand stays consistent when someone else works with it.

FAQ
How much does a brand identity cost?
Projects start at €2,200. The final fee depends on scope (naming, number of applications, guidelines), and you get it as a fixed quote in writing before we begin. We don't bill open-ended hours.
What if our budget is tighter than that?
We adjust the scope, not the quality. We can start with the core of the brand (logo, color and typography) and add applications later within the same system.
We already have a logo. Do we have to start over?
Not always. For Acadèmia Aprèn, a tutoring center that had just changed hands, we kept the logo so families would still recognize it and renewed everything around it: palette, shapes, website and storefront sign. We start by deciding what is worth keeping.
Can you also create the brand name?
Yes. Naming is part of the service and is developed together with the identity, so the name and the visuals explain each other. We named Ordim, the Fonament festival and Datum, among others.
How long does it take?
As a guide, an identity project takes approximately 5 to 8 weeks, depending on scope. The schedule also depends on how quickly each phase is approved on your side.
What does the fee include?
Research, concept, logo and its variants, typography and color palette, the agreed applications, final files, usage guidelines and two rounds of revisions. Anything outside that is agreed in writing before we start.
What do you need from us?
One in-depth first conversation, a single person who can make decisions on your side, and timely feedback after each presentation. The clearer the brief, the sharper the proposal.
What rights do you get to the logo, and which files do you receive?
We transfer the usage rights to the final work once the project is paid. Editable source files (for example AI, INDD or Figma) are delivered on request at an extra cost. The exact terms depend on the project and are set in the quote. Final files come in the standard formats for print and screen.
Can you work with clients in North America?
Yes. We run the kickoff and presentations by video call and keep feedback in writing. Spain is six hours ahead of New York and nine ahead of California, so we schedule calls in your morning.
How many concept routes do you present?
One to three routes, chosen strategically. Each one answers the brief and your goals and is argued on criteria, not on taste. Choosing is a decision you can justify to anyone on your team.
How does payment work?
50% when you accept the quote and the remainder on final delivery.
